Visit to Advocate Children's Hospital Father's Day Weekend


This year we made a special visit to Advocate Children's Hospital Father's Day weekend.
As many of you know we lost our father Marino Roman on April 5th, 2017. This loss has rocked our world and our sadness is deep. Once again our hearts our suffering but we know that making a difference and making those we love in heaven proud of us is what our new focus must become.

As our father is now with our son in heaven we thought of a "perfect" way to honor them together, the Chicago Cubs and Mickey Mouse! We were so grateful to visit the children in the ICU as well as the Pediatric Cardiac Unit and pass out Chicago Cubs, Mickey Mouse blankets. The children loved them and seeing them smile and enjoy the blankets filled our hearts with joy. Our son was one of those patients, and we know how visits like this one helps bring some sunshine into a family's day and most importantly, into a hospitalized child's day.
